研究実績の概要 |
On-chip cell impedance evaluator has been developed and applied on cell tests. We found clear relations between cell transit speed and deformation from human red blood cells among different subjects. Such relations support the proposed model and it shows that a largely deformed cell would slowly move inside a narrow channel. Single cell impedance may be determined based on such a speed change.

理由
The experimental system has been developed as planned in the proposal. The preliminary results of this work have been published in 5 journal papers and more than 10 conference presentations.

今後の研究の推進方策 |
The schedule for the second year will be focused on cell evaluation with new and different manipulation patterns for determining cycle-dependent viscoelastic characteristics of cells.

I was able to purchase research items with a cheaper price than the price planned in the application.
