研究実績の概要 |
In the third year, the following new results have been achieved.
1. Theoretical results: We developed partial-observation distributed control for timed discrete-event systems. Further, we addressed the issue of communication delay when events are transmitted through physical channels. In addition, we extended these results to solve distributed control of large-scale discrete-event systems.
2. Experiment results: We developed an online supervisory control approach for efficient and reconfigurable control synthesis for multi-agent discrete-event systems. Further we successfully tested the online supervisor on the experiment system we developed in the first two years.

理由
In the third year (2018.04-2019.03), we have achieved 1 book publication, 3 journal paper publications, 5 conference paper publications. In addition to theoretical development, we have also tested online supervisory control on the experiment testbed that we built in the first two years.

今後の研究の推進方策 |
We are going to develop scalable distributed control for multi-agent discrete-event systems, whose control strategies do not depend on the number of agents. In addition, we will test the developed scalable distributed controllers on our experiment testbed by using real mobile robots. Moreover, we plan to explore features from data to further enhance efficiency of designed control strategies.

次年度使用額が生じた理由 |
In the next fiscal year, I will host Prof. Alessandro Giua in Osaka City University for research collaboration, which is important for progressing my Kakenhi project. This was not part of the plan, and therefore certain budget is saved to be used for this purpose.
