研究概要

放射線照射後の萎縮胸腺で、Bcl11bの遺伝的変化を経時的に調べた結果、Bcl11bは発症初期過程に働くことが明らかになった。Bcl11bは細胞周期チェックポイントに働くChk1のリン酸化に影響し、標的遺伝子として、p27 kip1 p57 kip2およびβ-cateninが明らかになった。マウスの発がん実験からは、Bcl11b機能低下は細胞増殖を促し、それがリンパ腫、腸管腫瘍の発がん原因であると考えられた。
