研究概要

がん細胞の浸潤装置として機能する膜型マトリックスメタロプロテアーゼ(MT1-MMP)は、そのプロテアーゼ活性を介してがん細胞の浸潤や増殖を制御するだけでなく、がん微小環境の制御因子でもある。本研究では、MT1-MMPの新基質の同定、プロテアーゼ活性の制御、MT1-MMPを細胞内の結合因子同定、MT1-MMP の非プロテアーゼ活性、腫瘍制御の標的分子としての有用性評価に関する解析を進めて成果を得た。
