研究概要

がん免疫療法は期待されているが、まだ標準治療になっていない。本研究では、免疫療法の科学的な改良を目指して、ヒトがん抗原の同定、がん免疫応答、特に免疫抑制の機序解明、がん組織を構成するがん細胞群として、抗がん剤抵抗性で再発の原因となるがん幹細胞と転移の原因となる上皮間葉転換がん細胞の免疫特性の解明を行った。本研究で見つかったがん抗原や免疫制御法を用いた新しいがんの診断法や治療法の開発が期待される。
