研究概要

第一原理密度汎関数法を用いた非平衡グリーン関数法による架橋分子電気伝導の理論アプローチを開発、各種有機分子を含む興味深い架橋系の基本的な伝導特性を解明した。分子の振動励起を伴う非弾性電子移動を解明し、非弾性トンネル分光の基礎を構築した。電子と分子振動の相互作用を扱う理論を開発し、分子架橋系における発熱や熱伝導の問題を調べた。さらに、コヒーレント電流から拡散散逸的な電流領域への移行のメカニズムを解明した。
