研究概要

本研究では染色体分配を制御する遺伝子群の機能的ネットワークの探索と解析を行ない、染色体分配の制御機構の全体像の解明を試みた。具体的には、分裂酵母の高温感受性突然変異株ライブラリーを用いて、機能的相互作用を示す遺伝子を網羅的に検索した。またライブラリー中の全ての変異株について、変異遺伝子とサプレッサー遺伝子のクローン化を行なった。その結果、これまでに見いだされていなかった多くの遺伝子間機能相互作用が同定された。
