| 研究実績の概要 |
In the last 18 months (November 2017-April 2019), several projects have been completed. The study of cognitive-training (with a special focus on older adults) have yielded five papers, three of them already published or accepted and two currently under review.
We have replaced the project of the meta-analyses on the impact of the expertise on cognitive reserve with a set of structural models investigating the structure of human cognition in the elderly. We are about to finalize and submit a paper.
As planned, we have written and submitted a paper using structural modelling to describe the impact of leisure activities on older people cognitive function.

理由
In these first 18 months, we have made substantial progress in all the parts of the project (three projects out of five have been completed). We also have managed to submit and publish several papers (see section 10) and others are in preparations.

| 今後の研究の推進方策 |
Fininshing the two parts of the project that are still a work-in-progress: (a) collecting all the needed data of our empirical study (Igo players’ cognitive skills); and (b) analysing the dataset of Igo players.
