I wrote the paper entitled "The Effect of the Fed’s Large-Scale Asset Purchases on Inflationary Expectations." This has appeared as a RIETI Discussion Paper (17-E-097). This has also been accepted for publication at the refereed journal called the Southern Economic Journal. I presented this paper at several academic conferences. To understand the effect of countries like China on inflation dynamics, I have also investigated price elasticities of exports and imports. I wrote one RIETI Discussion Paper on this topic (18-E-005). I have also been researching the electronics industry, where U.S. import prices keep falling rapidly.
