理由
Bugaeva and Sato published a newly discovered Kuril Ainu glossary by Сaptain V. M. Golovnin (1811) and Ainu upaskuma text recorded by N.A. Nevskij (1922) from the SpB archive. Gruzdeva and Bugaeva published an annotated Nivkh text from their fieldwork materials. Bugaeva et al. published an article on possession in Ainu showing that typologically Ainu is a Pacific Rim language and gave talks on head-making and cases in Ainu in a diachronic perspective. Sato continued deciphering and generalizing about the use of kana in the Edo period Ainu documents written by the Japanese. Gruzdeva published on Nivkh evidentiality and the diversification of Nivkh varieties shading light on the history of Nivkh.
