Data collected on some parts of the target population through survey in Japanese or English. Interviews of high achieving negotiators with business experience in Japan. These are cross culturally adept individuals with a history of successful cross cultural (Japan and other) experience.

理由
Contacts in the oil companies that had initially agreed to cooperate declined - in part this is because o the rapidly changing economic situation in the oil and gas sector and its impact on the companies and the Ichthys project.

今後の研究の推進方策 |
I have extended the project to include software and finance specialists. Also I have extended the project to include software specialists in India. The extensions of industry sector and geography will help provide enough data for substantive comparisons and analysis.

次年度使用額が生じた理由 |
Necessary for travel and collection of data. While data collection will continue, analysis will also start in this year. Thus new equipment and software will be purchased in this academic year.
