研究実績の概要 |
A detailed study on 3D-Lattice frame plan was done. The continuity, momentum and energy equations were solved for the selected 3D-LMF porous media, computationally. Based on the obtained results macroscopic transport parameters such as permeability and inertial coefficient were found for a cubic 3D Lattice Metal Frame structure. A special attention was given to revise a home made CFD program for this project. Furthermore, the experimental setup was designed. Manufacturing of 3D-LMF was started. The size of components and power of equipment were calculated. The measuring devices were selected and ordering of equipment was started. All equipment and devices were bought. It is decided to change working fluid from water to air.

理由
The research continues as it was planned, the only difficulty was the adaption of the home made program however it could be solved. The preliminary obtained results are promising and some of the results will be published this year.

今後の研究の推進方策 |
The study will continue as it was planned. In the next step (2018), further theoretical and numerical studies will be done on the volume averaged transport properties. These parameters will be obtained for different 3D Lattice Metal Frame structures and compared. The comparison of the results will provide hints for the optimum design of a structure for an application. Furthermore, the experimental study will continue and the obtained results will be compared with numerical ones to validate the performed computational study.

次年度使用額が生じた理由 |
The supplying of devices was late and some necessary equipment could not be ordered. That is why some part of the 2017 fund was transferred to the next year.
