2: おおむね順調に進展している
理由
While we have been unable to travel, we have maintained an active publication schedule. Two key outputs, as outlined above are in highly visible publications, and have received multiple retweets and interest from media companies. The online bibliographic database that the team has developed has facilitated our ability to continue collaboration despite the COVID pandemic. This demonstrates the practical value of such a product. The project team is currently considering a further publication based on interviews with government officials and interest groups, working on disaster and foreigners in Japan and possibly other countries. This is still in its planning phase.

今後の研究の推進方策 |
Our intent going forward is to conduct a final albeit small workshop in Japan that will seek the participation of several stakeholders previously interviewed. It is hoped that the project team will be able to discuss findings with these stakeholders. The final outcomes of the project and this workshop will be compiled into a final report. The execution of this initiative is currently being planned for the second half of 2022, depending on easing of travel restrictions.

次年度使用額が生じた理由 |
Dependent on international borders reopening, the project team hopes to conduct a small workshop in Japan that includes several key interviewees. The team intends to discuss outcomes of the research with these stakeholders and the proceedings will form a final report for the project. The team is contributing to the remuneration of an administrator, who is assisting with multiple projects within Nagoya University. The administrator will assist with financial acquittals, travel arrangements and other administrative tasks as required.
