| 研究実績の概要 |
-The major achievement (in English) related to this research project was published in May 2018. It is the result of an international research project launched by Institute of Political Science in Acadmia Sinica in Taiwan. The achievement of this research project eventually transformed into a chapter of the following book:
-Decoding the Rise of China: Taiwanese and Japanese Perspectives (edited by Aoyama Rumi and Tse-Kang Leng ), (Palgrave Macmillan, 2018).(Chapter 6)
-Data collection in Hong Kong proceeded smoothly in the overseas research trip in Feb 2019.
-An academic talk was given the students of Department of Politics and Public Administration in University of Hong Kong in Feb 2019.
-Translation of research works preceded smoothly and part of the research was published in Fudan University, Shanghai, China(PRC)

-The major publication (English) related to Chinese Foreign Policy to Japan was published by a well-known international publisher in May 2018
-Translation related to the topic for publication proceeded smoothly in the last year.

| 今後の研究の推進方策 |
-Data collection in major archives of Hong Kong will be conducted continually .
-Participation of international conferences / workshops both within and outside Japan for critical comment of this research project will be maintained.
-Translation of academic works will be continued in the upcoming years.

| 次年度使用額が生じた理由 |
-Teaching workload limited the times that can be used for overseas investigation.
-The incurring amount of funding will be used to invite overseas scholars to Waseda for international exchange (e.g. :giving talks related to the research topic at Waseda)
