| 研究実績の概要 |
Following the plan, the robot hardware and software has been improved during the first fiscal year. Moreover, basic analysis of music therapy methodologies has been conducted, carying on several meetings with experts, psychologists and therapists. The research team has also actively participated to a session of active music therapy for disabled children to understand the real user cases.
Several articles have been written and submitted to journals and conferences, some are already published and some other are currently under peer review. The principal investigator has participated to dissemination events (such as re:publica, in Berlin), to demonstrate to the general public the use of robotics for therapy purposes.

理由
We are progressing smoothly despite some early problems in the hardware development and logistics planning for the experiments. We have already applied and waiting for approval by the Ethical Committe to start with preliminary experiments involving human subjects.

| 今後の研究の推進方策 |
Basic robot behaviors have already been modeled theoretically. From now on, according to the initial project plan, the robot behavior will be implemented practically, with specific control algorithm patterns to implement specific behaviors. Moreover, human-robot real-time interaction experiments will be planned and carried out with the close support of therapists and psychologists.

| 次年度使用額が生じた理由 |
The money not spent in the first fiscal year results from a part of the robot hardware still to be finalized after several rounds of prototype design. It will be used to finish the hardware of the robot, for materials and experiments in the second fiscal year
