研究概要

治療効果が殆ど期待できず縮小もない癌に脳腫瘍があり、且つ悪性のものが多い。本研究プロジェクトにおいて我々は、血液脳関門に発現しているABCトランスポーター(ABCB1, ABCG2等)の基質にならず、効率的に脳移行する新規脳腫瘍治療薬の分子デザインを実施した。また更に、これらトランスポーターを阻害する薬をデザインし、既存の抗癌剤が脳腫瘍に到達できるようにする定量的構造活性相関の解析方法を開発した。
