内湾環境比較にもとづく三陸沿岸域の複合養殖生産の最適化

研究概要

三陸沿岸域におけるホタテ、マガキなどの無給餌養殖生産の内湾環境依存性を、大槌湾と大船渡湾の対比から明らかにした。大船渡湾では、大槌湾よりも閉鎖性が強いため湾内外の海水交換が悪く、湾外からの栄養塩供給は湾奥には至らない。両湾ともに、貝類養殖は現状の養殖密度がほぼ妥当であるが、養殖貝類の成長速度は養殖実施場所によって異なることから、養殖実施場所の選択により増産の可能性があることが明らかになった。
