| 研究実績の概要 |
Collaborated with researchers from Europe and Japan in the field of Tocharian and Indo-European linguistics. In particular, collaboration with Athanaric Huard (Doctorant EPHE, PSL) and Yuima Inaba (Research Fellow, Kyoto Koka Women’s University) resulted in an extensive study and complete translation of the Tocharian A manuscripts 384-386. This paper has been submitted to a journal and is in preparation for publication. We are also currently preparing a study of the Tocharian B manuscript 199 to be submitted this summer for publication.

理由
In order to clarify the translation of Sanskrit texts, in particular Buddhist Abhidharma texts, into Tocharian A and B, I have begun a fruitful collaboration with other researchers to publish careful translations and philological studies of these texts. Such studies are essential for accurately understanding how Sanskrit texts were translated into Tocharian.

| 今後の研究の推進方策 |
There are a number of papers currently planned for our series on Tocharian Abhidharma texts. These will form the basis for a Tocharian-Sanskrit dictionary.

I was not able to travel abroad last year due to COVID restrictions and plan on doing so this year for conferences.
