| 研究実績の概要 |
Owing to the previously poor performance of our online surveys, we reconsidered the efficacy of this approach, particularly one which would be limited to Red Cross hospitals. Ultimately we decided that even a limited-scope paper survey might not provide sufficient or adequate data.
Bearing that in mind, we decided to return to the insightful and productive approach that we used in the creation of our online questionnaire instrument, carrying out a series of face-to-face focus groups with hospital-based nurses. We obtained ethical clearance for the project in December 2022, and conducted the first of our focus groups in Takamatsu in April 2023.

理由
Having obtained ethical clearance, we conducted a Focus Group interview in April 2023. We are currently in the process of analyzing the data obtained from this interview. We are also in the process of planning further Focus Group interviews in two more locations.

| 今後の研究の推進方策 |
We are currently establishing contacts in the nursing community with a view to conducting two more Focus Group interviews. On completion of these interviews we plan to publish and present our findings and conclude the research project.

| 次年度使用額が生じた理由 |
We have carried out one Focus Group in R5, but the data that we obtained, while useful, is insufficient. We plan to use funds to carry out two more data gathering Focus Groups in hospitals in Japan before the end of the year. Based on this plan, we also wish to present our findings at one domestic and one international conference. We expect to conduct these activities within the budget for our final year.
