| 研究実績の概要 |
Almost all project goals have been achieved. The results have been published on the website and are being used in German classes at the School of International Liberal Studies.
In June 2021, I presented my findings at the conference of the Japanische Gesellschaft fuer Germanistik in Tokyo.
In July 2021, I gave an online lecture with the title "Sprachhandlungen modellieren fuer Deutsch als Fremdsprache Ergebnisse einer korpuslinguistisch-frequenzbasierten Studie" ("Modeling speech acts for German as a foreign language. Results of a corpus linguistic frequency-based study") at the Kongress der Internationalen Vereinigung fuer Germanistik (IVG) / International Association for German Studies in Palermo, Italy. The related paper was accepted for the conference proceedings and will be published in 2022.

理由
Due to the restrictions on international travel by the Japanese government as well as my university, I was was unable to carry out my research stay abroad. I plan to conduct it during the fall 2022.

| 今後の研究の推進方策 |
I plan to carry out a research stay at a center for corpus linguistics at a university in the German speaking countries to discuss algorithms for efficient recognition and mapping of patterns pointing to speech act patterns. I will also present the project findings at the universities of Heidelberg and Siegen (both Germany) to which I have been invited as Guest Professor and Mercator Fellow.

| 次年度使用額が生じた理由 |
International travel was not possible due to governmental travel restrictions and university regulations. Research stay at European university is now scheduled for fall 2022.
