| 研究実績の概要 |
The current research is examining frontal cortex function associated with language processing and outcomes using neuro-cognitive measures (i.e., STROOP task) and psychological surveys of bilingual Japanese young adults. Thus far, questionnaire surveys were collected from 170 participants and data collection for the neuro-cognitive measure is ongoing from 70 participants. Analyses of these data is currently underway. A proposal of the project was presented at a domestic research gathering at Waseda University in July 2018 (i.e., the 2nd CELESE Colloquium).

理由
Questionnaire surveys were collected from 170 participants and data collection for the neuro-cognitive measure is ongoing from 70 participants. Analyses of these data is currently underway. Brain imaging data collection, using fMRI, is scheduled to begin in the fall of 2019. Thus far, 30 participants are scheduled to participate in the brain imaging data collection process. Additional participant recruitment will occur in 2019 for questionnaire survey, computer-based neuro-cognitive tasks and brain imaging data collection.

Results from these data will be presented at national and international conferences and will be submitted for publication in international peer reviewed scientific journals.
