研究実績の概要 |
In this year we focused on research related to macroscopic modelling of shared mobility. We discussed assignment models that consider cycle sharing as well as car sharing. For bicycle sharing we focused on a "macroscopic approach" as proposed in the first large workpackage of the proposal. We modelled the distribution of bicycles in a hypothetical city during the course of the day considering choices between public and shared transport options. In ongoing research we can now additionally consider the effects of fare changes in this model. Furthermore, for carsharing, we modelled the "accessibility improvements" due to the introduction of such a scheme. This will help justifying from a fairness of point of view, the introduction of such a scheme in that it illustrates which areas of a city benefit most from carsharing including consideration of existing alternative transport options. We conducted a case study with data from Toyota City. Furthermore we continued research on modelling non-linear road pricing and public transport fares that were investigated in a previous Kaken funded project. We suggest that such fare/pricing structures can also support fairness consideration in the transport policy.

理由
The research is in general progressing well, though in some aspects more and in other aspects less than expected. We achieved more than originally thought in terms of network modelling with shared transport modes. In terms of preparation of modelling with data from Shizuoka we achieved less than expected as data permissions require time. Further, we found the continuation of the non-linear fare discussion useful also for the objectives of this research.

今後の研究の推進方策 |
We plan to proceed largely as proposed in the original project proposal with a few changes. 1 the research on shared bicycles will become more of a focus than originally envisioned. This was thought useful, given recent policy advances and interests from agencies to e.g. charge more if bicycles are located in non-convenient locations. 2 also the efforts related to "macroscopic modelling" will be more emphasized than originally planned. 3 Instead there will be less emphasis on the Shizuoka case study.

次年度使用額が生じた理由 |
Due to some part of data analysis being delayed, some expenditures are also carried forward to this fiscal year. We therefore hope to use the remaining funding from this year also in this year.
