| 研究実績の概要 |
延長最終年度となった2021年度は、研究成果のとりまとめを各自が行なった。うち、髙地（研究代表者）と、ホートン（分担者）は、その一部を紀要およびオンラインのアカデミック・レターに発表した。
また、全体としての成果を論文集として発表すべく原稿の執筆を行なった。それぞれの仮題は次の通りである。
Kaoru KOCHI, "The Formation and Refinement of the New Order Historiography on the 30 September Movement of 1965";"Army-Academic Relations in Indonesia: Soewarto and SESKOAD as a Cradle for the New Order"; "Soewarto’s Biography". Mayumi YAMAMOTO, "Veiled Complicity: Clifford Geertz in the American Academic Hegemony". William Bradley HORTON, "In the Shadows with an Eastern European Cold Warrior in Asia: Guy Pauker and American Relationships with Indonesia 1950s-1970s"; "A cautionary tale of arrogance: The Harry Benda translation of The Japanese Military Administration in Indonesia and the US"; "USIS Publications in Indonesia during the 1940s-1960s".
この論文集の内容を発表し、議論するため、2022年3月27日にはオンラインにて、インドネシア、シンガポール、カナダの研究者をコメンテーターに迎え、国際シポジウム "American Intellectual, Ethics, and Responsibility during the Cold War Indonesian Studies in the 1950s-1970s"を開催した。論文集は2022年度中に出版予定である。
