Confirmed the principle of APOM system and its applicability to liquid film thickness measurement, constructed experimental setup. Measured the liquid film thickness around gas phase at low Ca in circular micro tubes: The effects of other different parameters on liquid film thickness, including flow direction, Reynolds number, initial force, and bubble length, is studied to clarify the characteristics of two-phase flow in circular micro tubes. Measured the liquid film thickness at a wide range of Ca in triangular microchannels: The effects of other different parameters on liquid film thickness, including gravity effects, channel orientation and geometry, and bubble length, is studied to clarify the characteristics of two-phase flow in triangular microchannels.

Measurement of the liquid film thickness at a wide range of Ca in square and rectangular microchannels with aspect ratios other than 2: The effects of other different parameters on liquid film thickness, including flow direction, channel geometry, shape and orientation, and bubble length, will also be studied to clarify the characteristics of two-phase flow in square and rectangular microchannels with aspect ratios other than 2.
