研究実績の概要 |
Ti-Nb-Ta-Zr-O nanotubes have been prepared by anodization of Ti-Nb-Ta-Zr alloys. The properties can be adjusted by controlling the anodization parameters. Ti-Nb-Ta-Zr-O nanotubes having average wall thickness of 3.5 ± 0.5 nm, porosity of 71.5%, and apparent bandgap of 3.27 eV. The results were published in ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces and selected as the cover page. Another paper entitled "Mechanistic Insights into Photodegradation of Organic Dyes Using Heterostructure Photocatalysts" was published in Catalyst in May of 2019. The paper is already cited for more than 45 times, which is ranked as top 0.1% paper in the materials science area.

理由
I am in my childcare leave in the year of 2019. I plan to come back to work in May of 2020. Though my colleague in Tokyo Tech and Prof. Hsu in NCTU in Taiwan they are still conducting our cooperative research hence I still have publications in 2019.

今後の研究の推進方策 |
Further optimization of the anodization process is needed. The first priority will be controlling morphology and composition of the mixed oxide. Then characterization of the mixed oxide photocatalyst will be evaluated by a new oxygen production rate measurement system developed in my lab.

次年度使用額が生じた理由 |
My childcare leave will end in March of 2020. I will come back to continuous my research in this project.
