TI:Analyzing the Concept of FURERU Methods: 32 original articles and review articles containing FURERU in their title were extracted from the online archive of Japan Medical Abstracts Society and analyzed based on the concept analysis approach of Rodgers (2000).Results: Antecedents identified as a result of the analysis were "cognitive decline," "decreased psychological well-being," "tense situation," "being in health needs;" attributes were "communication," "relationship," "promptness," and "intentional;" and consequences were "relaxing and healing," "fulfilling," "connecting with others," and "increased sensation and recovery." Discussions: As the word "touch," FURERU refers to an intentional act. However, findings of this study suggest the act of FURERU also has a nature of "promptness" and thus the concept is rooted in physicality.
