研究概要

CCNファミリータンパク質が、オーケストラの指揮者(コンダクター)が様々の楽器を駆使してシンフォニーを奏でるが如く、「細胞外シグナルをハーモナイズさせるコンダクター」というべき新概念のタンパク質群であることを証明し、従来の細胞外シグナルネットワーク研究の刷新に繋がる成果を挙げた。また、同タンパク質の「調和ある組織再生」への応用と「異常発現で誘発される疾患の治療」へ向けての基礎データの集積という医学的応用に結びつく成果を挙げた。
