研究概要

骨組織は、無機質成分のハイドロキシアパタイト(HAp)結晶やコラーゲン分子のナノレベルから、皮質骨、海綿骨といった組織構造のマクロレベルまで非常に複雑な階層構造を示す。本研究では、ナノレベルのHAp結晶変形からマクロな骨組織レベルの応力検出手法を考案した。負荷時による階層構造特性の実験手法を提案し、その特徴を表示する階層構造パラメータを整理した。さらに、生体内計測を想定した残留応力計測法を開発し、無負荷でも骨組織には各部位によって特徴的な残留応力が生じていることを示した。
