研究概要

(1)幾何的トポロジーの手法を数論幾何で展開することにより、トポロジーの知見(写像類群のコホモロジーなど)を数論幾何(外ガロア作用など)の研究に応用した。(2)数論幾何の対象を、組み合わせ群論および圏論的に再構築する理論を展開した。(3)代数的・幾何的アルゴリズムを開発し、擬似乱数評価法などの実用数学に応用した。
