研究課題
本研究の目的は、東アジア・東南アジア諸地域における高齢者のライフコースを、家族イベントに着目して行い、それを20世紀の社会変動とのかかわりで考察することによって、20世紀のアジア史を個人・家族・社会の重なり合いにおいて理解することである。家族イベントのなかでも特に、妊娠・出産、家事と育児など、文書記録にとどめることが困難な「女性の経験」を重視した調査研究を行う。調査方法は、ライフコース質問紙調査および、研究者の関心に応じたインテンシブなインタビューである。平成20年度は、4カ国5地域における(韓国・ソウルおよびテグ、中国・大連、日本・名古屋、フィリピン)におけるライフコース質問紙調査作成および調査準備を行った。当初、韓国(ソウルおよびテグ)、中国(大連)においてライフコースの質問紙調査を実施する計画であったが、調査対象者の予定変更等のため実施が困難であり、その分の予算を繰り越し、21年度に調査を実施した。インテンシブなインタビューとしては、中国大連および台湾において高齢者を対象にした聞き取り調査を、ベトナムにおいて国際移動と現代女性のライフコースに関する調査を実施した。また、韓国の共同研究者である朴京淑氏の来日時に、愛知県において高齢者を対象にした聞き取り調査を行った。また、平成20年度内に、名古屋市で公開研究会を3回開催し(ゲスト(賽漢卓娜氏)を招聘しての国際セミナーを含む)、研究にかかわる協議を行うとともに、地域の学術研究に対する貢献を行った。
