研究概要

広い時空間で蛋白質分子機能の詳細な原理を解明するため、ナノからサブマイクロ秒領域のダイナミクスに注目し、分子シミュレーションを用いて機能と密接に結びつく蛋白質ダイナミクスを観察し、超異方性とフラストレーションという観点から研究を行った。超並列シミュレーションによって自由エネルギー地形を計算する手法や複雑な多次元ダイナミクスから有意に相関する自由度を抽出する手法を開発しこれを用いることで、蛋白質ダイナミクスの機能との相関を明らかにした。
