| 研究概要 |
本研究は,エジプト・アラブ共和国国立水研究センター(National Water Research Center ; NWRC)のスタッフと共同で,ナイル川からもたらされる水資源の効率的利用,降雨や地下水等による水資源の効率的利用及び開発,流域農地における地力,塩害,灌潮・排水施設等に関する諸問題,効率的水利用を踏まえた農業生産体系や水利システムの整備に取り組むものである。最終年である平成21年度には,本研究課題の成果発表会をNWRCで開催する予定であったがNWRC側の都合により実施できず,平成22年度に繰り越して実施することになった。本研究組織のメンバーは,平成23年1月7日～1月15日の期間にエジプトに渡航し,カウンターパートと実施した共同研究の成果を「Effective Utilization of Water and Land Resources in Arid Regions」と題する国際シンポジウム(期間:1月9日～11日,会場:Nile Valley Conference Hall, Delta Barrage)で報告した。報告内容は,以下のとおりである。
