研究概要

バナッハ空間の幾何学的定数とノルム不等式を研究した.特に,James定数とvon Neumann-Jordan定数の関係が集中的に議論され,これら2つの定数について極めて単純な不等式を得た.この結果は,Alonso-Martin-Papiniの提供した疑問に肯定的に答え,このような不等式に関する先行結果のすべてを改良するものである.また,ノルム不等式の一般化・精密化も考察した.
