植物グリコシルトランスフェラーゼによる新規光学分割法の開発と創薬への応用

研究概要

植物培養細胞から、イオン交換カラム、アフィニティーカラム、ゲルろ過カラムを使用する各種のクロマトグラフィーにより、植物キシロシルトランスフェラーゼを精製した。本酵素により、フェニルアルキルアルコールの(RS)-ラセミ体の配糖体を変換したところ、本酵素は、(R)-体のフェニルアルキルアルコール配糖体のみをプリメベロシド二糖配糖体に変換し、未反応の(S)-体のフェニルアルキルアルコール配糖体を高い光学純度で与える、新規な光学分割の能力を持つことが明らかになった。
