Fieldworks in Bangladesh to identify the local attitude and perception of the producer and consumer towards sustainable production and consumption, the link between governance and agricultural sustainability was conducted and produced two main studies; “Localization of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Bangladesh: An Inclusive Framework under Local Governments” explored the existing link between local government and SDGs implementation at the local level in Bangladesh, and an inclusive framework for localization of the SDGs. “Achieving SDGs among the South Asian Countries: Progress and Challenges” analyzed the SDGs based on selected indicators to capture the progress of SDGs among South Asian countries since 2015, and to identify the challenges faced in achieving the specific SDG.

理由
A paper on “Achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) among the South Asian Countries: Progress and Challenges" was published in the International Journal of Regional Development (link https://doi.org/10.5296/ijrd.v9i2.19984). Various presentations at international conferences were also conducted, namely the International Conference on Geological and Environmental Sustainability (ICGES-22) and Global Summit on Advances in Earth Science and Climate Change.

今後の研究の推進方策 |
Compilation and analysis of the data findings will be conducted in the next phase, to identify policy recommendations for minimizing the gaps and constraints for achieving sustainable production and consumption in developed and developing countries. A paper on the “Localisation of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Bangladesh: An Inclusive Framework under Local Governments” is expected to be published in a journal
