| 研究実績の概要 |
In FY20 the experimental campaing of the HiCARI project "High‐resolution Cluster Array at RIBF" has been started.
Due to COVID-19 and the national state of emergency, the original plan of conducting six experiments in the spring of 2020 in two campaigns with 238U primary beam in April with solid targets and June/July with the liquid hydrogen target MINOS had to be abolished.
Instead a detailed analysis of the characterization data taken with source was analyzed and used to improve the reliability of the simulation code.
In the fall of 2020, after a successful commissioning of the full setup, the data acquisition systems, and the offline event correlation, seven experiments were conducted. All of them were very successful, and the online analysis promises exciting physics results.

理由
The project status is on schedule. Seven experiments were successfully performed, the international user community is very satisfied with the outcome. The PI has
been invited to several conferences to present the project.

| 今後の研究の推進方策 |
A last experiment will be performed in FY21, after which the detectors and infrastructure will be dismounted and returned to their respective owners.
The data analysis will be coordinated among the experts and the international user community through regular analysis meetings.
The organization of an in-person workshop is envisaged when the COVID situation allows for international travel and conferences.
We plan technical and physics publications in peer-review journals.
