While some of the planned work for the project was delayed due to COVID-19, we were able to complete setting up the theoretical model, solving the model analytically, and writing a first draft of the paper.
We also held a number of online symposiums related to the project, and invited scholars doing related research to present their work and comment on each other's research.
Due to COVID-19, part of the research budget related to interviewing of migrant workers, case studies, data collection and international conference participation had to be postponed to the following year, when we expect the pandemic to subside substantially.
