研究実績の概要 |
The two field surveys proposed for this research has been successfully done. This survey was conducted from Feb. 3rd to Feb. 28th, 2020. More than 1000 respondents were sampled. In addition, key secondary data on bank production was also collected from national data repositories. Summary of achievements for the 2019-2020 academic year are as follows; a) Investigating learning by credit and value creation in banks: Empirical analysis of Japanese Banks (submitted for publication). b) On the determinants, gains and challenges of electronic banking in Nigeria; An application of structural equation modelling (submitted for publication). c) Forecasting financial technology diffusion in the Nigeria digital financial ecosystem; application of diffusion and growth models (work started).

理由
In the first academic year, I have developed and applied a cost function adjusted to capture learning by doing in banks. This model has become the theoretical ground for my thesis which bothers on learning by doing and technological diffusion in Nigeria digital financial ecosystem. I have also conducted a field survey to understand the dynamics and determinants of financial technology adoption across various users in Nigeria. In the light of the above, two research articles have been submitted for publication. Going forward, I will concentrate on my thesis and another research article which I am currently writing.
