| 研究実績の概要 |
Antony Susairaj:The present research is on the Tamil Movie Pariyerum Perumal. This film mirrors the humiliation of the people of lower castes in the Indian Society. During 2019, I had interviewed the director of Pariyerum Perumal, Mari Selvaraj in Chennai, Southern India and came to know about the background of the movie and its impact on the society.
山下博司:日本宗教学会全国大会で関連のパネル発表をおこなったこと、②（岡光とともに）2020年8月、シンガポールにて、South Asia international film festival (SgSAIFF)に参加し、出品作品を鑑賞するとともに、企画運営責任者、映画監督などと会って情報収集をおこなったこと、③理学部生複数名を使って映画作品の量的データをとらせ、グラフ化等を行ったこと、といったことかと思います。

理由
Each resercher works on the theme of Indian movie by interviews, field work in India. The research result is presented in Academic conferences and published in academic journal.

| 今後の研究の推進方策 |
Antony Susairaj has a plan to go to India for research on Indian Movie, particularly Tamil Movie. The name of the place of research would be Chennai. There is film Industry namely Kollywood.
Prof Yamashita and Okamitsu have a plan to go to Singapore and do their reserach among Indian Diaspora and find out the influence of Indian movie in Singapore

| 次年度使用額が生じた理由 |
The left over budget is due to the things purchased for the research is costed lesser than the buget prepared. However, the research is done as per plan. The final year of the Kakenhi, we are planning for an international conference on Indian movie research.
