研究実績の概要

There have been mainly ten results: 1. A major international conference on June 15-16 at Nanzan University on the topic of the research: Performance in Education: Research & Practice, 2. A second conference on the topic of the research on February 1-2 in Sapporo, 3. Presentations at a national conference at PanSIG2019 at Konan University, CUBE Campus on May 18-19 4. Presentations at an international conference: JALT2019 at WINC AICHI, Nagoya City, Aichi, Japan, November 2-3, 5. Meetings with co-researchers, 6. Interviews with teachers and students, 7. A book relating the research and practice is being prepared, 8. Four articles related to the research have been published
9. A textbook written by the researcher and co-researcher based on the research has been printed and trialed at Nanzan University Communication Skills classes, 10. A website has been created for the researcher, co-researcher, and cooperating researchers to upload their presentations and publications on the research topic.

2: おおむね順調に進展している

理由

(2) Progress has been generally good in that there has been a positive response to the research proposal among the university teachers attending the presentations and some have joined the research team. In addition, interviews have been productive.

今後の研究の推進方策

There will be another international conference this academic year but it will be an online one (because of COVID-19)with internationally renowned researcher Rod Ellis and others. The online conference will be Zoom and YouTube based, using the research YouTube channel, Performance in Education, with the scheduling information on the conference website (Google Sites).

次年度使用額が生じた理由

Because of the COVID-19 situation, conference participation was limited, but will continue at the end of 2020 and 2021.
