In the current year being reported (2023-24), progress continued on two fronts. The results of the nationwide questionnaire survey conducted among nursing professionals in Japan were finalized for publication and submission. Although initially accepted for publication with revisions, this paper has yet to complete the acceptance process. On the second front, the semi-structured interviews conducted in Japanese among eleven nursing professionals (registered nurses and licensed midwives) with a variety of cross-cultural nursing experience were transcribed and analyzed. The results are currently being prepared for reporting at one domestic and one international conference this year.
