理由
During FY2019, the research largely progressed as planned. The literature has been searched and reviewed, and preparations for conducting empirical research were completed. This included forming a Steering Committee, preparing participation materials, attending a methodology training session in the UK, receiving feedback from international academics, and making contact with key stakeholders to facilitate access to participants in 2 of the 3 case sites. At the end of FY2019, empirical data has been collected from 8 participants (3 organisations), with agreement for participation negotiated and agreed from a further 6 organisations. A further 6 organisations have been contacted to arrange participation. However, the Corona Virus has begun to delay data collection (see below).
|
今後の研究の推進方策 |
Due to the impact of the Corona Virus it is currently not possible to continue collecting empirical data, with a number of organizations declining participation until the crisis is over. It is likely that this will cause a significant delay to the research project and will restrict the ability to participate and present at conferences. As this is out of control of the researcher, there is little that can be done to mitigate this at this stage. The situation will continue to be monitored with adjustments made to the plan accordingly.
Whilst there continues to be disruptions to fieldwork, the research will focus on writing and publishing articles related to the project. Additionally, contact will be made and maintained with participants to ensure a smooth return to fieldwork when possible.

次年度使用額が生じた理由 |
Due to the influence of the Corona Virus, it was necessary to postpone a planned visit from an expert from Cardiff University which was due to take place in March. The purpose of this visit was to provide consultation on data collection and analysis. This trip will be rescheduled when the Corona Virus crisis has settled down.
