| 研究実績の概要 |
The first research achievement is that I published one journal paper and two working papers. My paper “A Characterization of the Vickery Rule in Slot Allocation Problems” coauthored with Shigehiro Serizawa (Osaka U) and Youngsub Chun (Seoul National U) is accepted to be published in the International Journal of Economic Theory. Its working paper version is published as ISER Discussion Paper, 1120. I also publish additional two working papers: Serial Vickrey mechanism (ISER Discussion Paper, 1095) and Multi-object Auction Design Beyond Quasi-linearity: Leading Examples (ISER Discussion Paper, 1116). Due to the pandemic of covid-19, I presented my research in virtual domestic workshop and international conferences, and received good comments to further improve the obtained results: 2020 Conference on Mechanism and Institution Design; The 2nd ISI-ISER Young Economists Workshop, December 19-20, 2020. Nanjing-Osaka Economic Theory Workshop, 2021; Economic Theory Workshops at Kyoto University, and Shinshu University.

理由
The theoretical part of this project goes on well. In my last year report, I expected that I could be able to complete an efficient auction with bidders facing soft financial constraints, and I achieved this goal this year. The result was published as a working paper and we are going to submit it to some top international journal in economics or management science soon. We also separate one section from this paper and independently write it as a research note, which was also published as a working paper. We are optimistic that these two papers will have non-negligible influences on international academia. During the research process, one technique of designing the efficient auction can be applied to other topic and so following this idea, I deliver the third working paper, which now is accepted for the publication in some international peer-reviewed journal. Due to the pandemic of covid-19, we cannot do any experiments in 2020. On the other hand, we make all preparations for the experiments and whenever possible, we will conduct experiments in 2021.

| 今後の研究の推進方策 |
For the last year, I am going to publish some of my papers in the top international peer-reviewed journals. Moreover, there are several follow-up works of my current research, which I expect to complete all of them this year.
Due to the pandemic of covid-19, there is some uncertainty about the experiments. I have prepared all the programming for the experiments, and I am planning to conduct experiments in May, July, and September. Definitely, I will follow the government’s instruction of the prevention of pandemic of covid-19.

| 次年度使用額が生じた理由 |
Due to the pandemic of covid-19, some international conferences are delayed to 2021. I did not attend any face-to-face conferences, and also conducting face-t-face experiments are not allowed at all in 2020. With vaccination, we have the chance to conduct experiments this year. My plan is that following the government’s policy, we try to conduct the experiments as many as possible, and try my best to collect the data that should have been collected in 2020. Also, it is expected that there are some face-to-face conferences to be held at the end of year. I am optimistic that I can attend those conferences physically.
