The original plan for this project has been completed, including the collection and analysis of two different types of data, and the publication of two scholarly articles in high-quality peer-reviewed international journals. The only part of the original plan that has not been completed has been dissemination of the study results at national and/or international conferences, due to COVD-19 restrictions. As shown in the next section, the original plan will be modified so that the findings can be disseminated in an online, on-demand style as restrictions or challenges in travel still remain.

As noted in a previous section, difficulties in travelling and cancellation of conferences, both due to COVID-19, is the reason for the incurring amount. As also noted earlier, this has meant the findings of this study are yet to be disseminated beyond the scholarly articles. In light of this, I have changed the original plan and will instead of presenting at an academic conference, will develop a series of 8 faculty development (FD) videos in bother English and Japanese for researchers on the use of Academic Social Networks for international networking. The costs associated with this may include purchase of editing software, translation services, and website development services.
