| 研究実績の概要 |
The research instruments were reviewed be a panel of experts and a pilot test was conducted. The research project received approval from the Institutional Review Board to proceed to the data collection phase. I planned to present a paper at the Comparative Education Society of Asia (CESA) Biennial Conference in Nepal in September 2020, but it was postponed due to COVID-19. A paper presentation was accepted for the Comparative and International Education Social Conference in 2021. I completed revisions on an invited book chapter on the changing dynamics of international student mobility in the Asia Pacific region. The edited volume is currently under review by an international academic publisher.

理由
After a thorough review by experts and a pilot test, the research instruments were finalized. The research received approval from the Institutional Review Board to proceed to the data collection phase. Data collection has started with a survey distributed to participants of the study abroad program.

I will continue data collection and start data analysis. I will continue to disseminate research findings through international academic conferences and academic publications.

| 次年度使用額が生じた理由 |
Due to the COVID-19 global pandemic, I was unable to conduct fieldwork in Japan, the US, and other countries. The unused funds will be used for the grant's remaining duration to conduct necessary fieldwork and data collection, disseminate research findings at international academic conferences, and publish open access when feasible.
