研究実績の概要 |
In FY2019, we follow our research plan to build a basic blockchain system for disaster environment. The main achievement can be summarized as follows. (1) Resilient blockchain system. Authenticated users can upload structure and unstructure data to the blockchain. In order to reduce storage overhead, we build a distributed storage system under the blockchain. All data are stored by the distributed storage system and blockchain is responsible for data management. (2) Quick deployment. We implement quick blockchain deployment. By clicking one button, the whole system will be automatically constructed without human operations. By using our tools, people without strong ICT skills (e.g., doctors and firemen) can quickly use their own servers to join our blockchain network. (3) Throughput improvement. Existing blockchain is constrained by low throughput. We increase blockchain throughput by implementing direct payment/state channels between two users, so that they can directly exchange information. We design algorithms for channel balance planning and security protection.

今後の研究の推進方策 |
We will move the second research phase by enhacning the blockchain system by designing resilient consensus protocol, adaptive block size, and lightweight blockchain node. In addition, we will study security issues to protect the system from malicious attacks.
