J-Stage, https://doi.org/10.24639/tpsr.TPSR_24R_01; (2) Research Title: “MANAGEMENT OF NEGATIVE TOURISM IMPACTS: Vietnamese and Japanese Cities.” Nguyen Van Truong, Shimizu Tetsuo, under review The outcome of the final year includes (2) and: - Conducting a site survey in Furano and Biei (Hokkaido) about overtourism and discussed with Biei town and Furano DMO’s representative. - I also visited some tourist hot spots and consulted with a tourism researcher in Vietnam about overtourism. Based on that, I can compare the overtourism in Japan and in Vietnam.
