The main achievement in this year was the publication of an edited volume ("Transwar Asia", Bloomsbury 2022), which was the direct result of the research that I was able to carry out thanks to this grant. This book brings together an international team of researchers who surveyed the transition from wartime to postwar in a host of Asian countries (Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Philippines, Indonesia). The book has already received two favourable reviews.
