Therapeutic role of Colloidal Platinum Nanoparticles (CPN)in capping the Wister rat's exposed pulp was evaluated after 3, 7, and 28 days. The effects were compared with the effects of Mineral trioxide aggregate (MTA) in similar experimental conditions. CPN showed favorable healing response in Wister rat's dental pulp. The responses were comparable to the responses of the "gold standard" pulp capping material MTA. Our observations were accepted for oral presentation in the 98th General Session of the IADR scheduled from March 18-21, 2020 at Washington DC, USA. Abstract's control ID: 3318137.
