Colloidal Platinum Nanoparticles and Phospphorylated Pullulan improve the pulp capping capability of Mineral trioxide Aggregate

研究実績の概要

We evaluated the therapeutic role of Colloidal Platinum Nanoparticles in capping Wister rat's exposed pulp after 3, 7, and 28 days. The effects of Colloidal Platinum Nanoparticles were compared with the effects of Mineral Trioxide Aggregate. We observed that the healing responses of Colloidal Platinum Nanoparticles were favorable and comparable to Mineral Trioxide Aggregate. Our observations were presented in the 98th General Session of the IADR (Abstract ID: 3318137; Title: Effects of Colloidal Platinum Nanoparticles on Dental Pulp). The characteristics of the mineralized tissue were evaluated at the University of Granada, Spain, where I delivered a lecture on our research achievements. Subsequently, we evaluated a novel phosphorylated pullulan-based pulp capping material's therapeutic role in capping Wister rat's exposed pulp after 3, 7, and 28 days. Our observations have been submitted to the 2021 IADR/AADR/CADR General Session for oral presentation (Abstract ID: 3573514; Title: CD34 and DMP1 expression in pulps capped with pullulan-based material), and to the International Endodontic Journal for publication (Title: Histological evaluation of a novel phosphorylated pullulan based pulp capping material: An in-vivo study on rat molar).
